Microsoft has introduced its first ever laptop Suface book that is being claimed as the fastest laptop on "any planet". The new device was also made to run on the Microsoft's latest Operating System, Windows 10.

Reuters reports that the Microsoft's Surface Book is being priced at $1,499 and stated twice as fast as Apple's MacBook Pro. The laptop comes in 13.5-inch display with 267 pixels per inch and sports a track pad made of glass.

According to Telegraph, Microsoft is increasing its Surface family of devices by adding it's newly launched first ever laptop. The Surface Book was reported to feature a detachable screen that can be utilized like a clipboard to sketch as well as taking notes and browsing the web.

It is also stated that the new Surface Book features a 13.5-inch touchscreen display, with 267 pixels per inch and takes in a total of 6,000 pixels; the device operates with the latest Windows 10. The keyboard was designed to provide comfort, with a depression of 1.6mm, along with a "dynamic fulcrum" hinge that rotates all the way round in fascinating fashion.

The Surface book features the Intel Core i5 and Core i7 processors. It also comes with a powerful battery life that can last up to 12 hours. It is said that users have the choice to add a discrete graphic processing unit (GPU) intended for enhanced video editing, faster rendering or immersive gaming.

According to the corporate vice president at Microsoft, Panos Panay, the Surface book is the fastest 13-inch laptop ever made, anywhere, on any planet.

It is reported that Microsoft Corp. has made the Surface book running on Windows 10 to crank up the competition with Apple Inc. and Google Inc. Panay added that this laptop is two times faster than Apple's Macbook Pro, Bloomberg wrote.

The achievement of Windows 10 is vital to Chief Executive Officer Satya Nadella's strategy of building an ecosystem of gadgets and cloud-based software as well as the services that work together, better than the method Apple's and Google's do now.

The move of releasing the new phones, tablets, and laptop from Microsoft aims to seek and attract consumers and developers to the operating system that works across a range of devices from phones to game consoles. There are more than 110 million devices running on the latest operating system, approximately two months after its release. It is said that the company's goal is to reach 1 billion in 2018.

The new 13-inch laptop Surface Book from Microsoft will be available on October 26 while its pre-order procedure has already started on Wednesday. The new laptop device can be purchased at a price tag that starts at $1,500.
