The Xiaomi's newest flagship Mi Note 2 is expected to be released on the first week of November. Though the company has not confirmed any of its features yet, the smartphone's predicted specifications are already circulating online.
According to Tech Times the previous flagship of Xiaomi which is the Mi Note Pro is one of the best devices that the Chinese manufacturer has released in terms of specifications. The Mi Note 2 will continue the tradition of featuring top-of-the-line specifications and features for a reasonable and affordable price compared to the flagship devices of rival smartphone manufacturing companies.
IBTimes cited the possible features and specifications of Mi Note 2. This handset is said to come with a huge 5.7-inch display, packed with 1,440 x 2,560 pixels screen resolution with 551 ppi.
The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 was initially expected to be armored by the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset. But there were news speculations that claim it might be engineered with MediaTek MT6797 Helio X20 chip instead as the former is not yet released by the time that Mi Note 2 will hit the market. The new chip will work hand-in-hand with a deca-core CPU.
Furthermore, this device could have two versions with the second one predicted to be powered by Snapdragon 820 chip. Xiaomi's newest flagship will also be housing a 4 GB of RAM, equipped with 32 GB of internal storage space. However, there is no information available if this handset will have a microSD slot.
The device is also speculated to run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow as it comes out of the box. As for the camera, it might sport a 16-megapixel rear-facing camera unit. A fingerprint scanner is also be expected. Aside from the standard connectivity options, 4G LTE will also be supported by the Xiaomi's newest handset.
Moreover, Christian Post stated on its article that the Chinese tech giant has announced to begin trickling its handsets in US by next year, beginning with the Mi Note 2.
Meanwhile, the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 may be launched together with the Mi 5, also said to contain the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820, during its November 5 event.
