Hazel E recently opened up on the real reason she decided to leave the hit VH1 show which she helped create, 'Love & Hip Hop Hollywood.' The realty star shocked fans after recently announcing on Twitter that she won't be returning to the show after season 2.

According to a report from Cocoa Fab, the 35-year-old celebrity only agreed to come back for a second season to prove her haters wrong. Opening up to 'The Jasmine Brand' to explain her side of the story, and the reasons behind her sudden announcement, the former publicist stated, "I think everyone thought I wasn't gonna come back for a second season so it's just about proving people wrong. I don't want nobody to get my storyline confused with anybody else's storyline," she said.

The star then added how she wished the show would focus on highlighting more of her lifestyle and music than the everyday drama. Hazel E then went on stating how she was never credited for bringing the franchise to Hollywood, adding that it was her who reached out to her fellow co-stars and gathered half the team before discussing the idea to the producers.

Hazel E also insisted she should have been given producer credit for the help she provided in creating the show adding, "I already had everything ready to go and half of the original cast members I picked stayed and we began shooting and we were on the air the end of that year.'

Despite the 35-year-old being annoyed with the lack of credit she received, she said she'd rather be an adult about the situation and fulfill her contractual obligations. In another report from Wet Paint, though the blonde beauty only laughed when asked if she'd consider coming back for season three, Hazel did say that she'd love to get behind the cameras stating, "Maybe if I got to showcase who I really am, If I could get a show based on my actual hustle ... then I would love to come back to TV. Until then, this other sh-t ain't for me."

Despite the sad turnout for Hazel E's fans, Yibada reported how much happier Hazel is after getting back together with her on-off boyfriend Katt Williams. Apparently, the two recently went on a romantic date which the celebrity shared on Instagram.

For now, it has not been revealed what Hazel E's future plans are after season two of 'Love & Hip Hop Hollywood'. However, after stating that she'd love to come back to reality TV with her own type of show, fans may be in luck if the 35-year-old star is given another chance.
