Although it has its ups and downs, Need for Speed is a leader on its own when it comes to racing games and it is set to be available for console version this November.
It was recalled by Forbes that Electronic Arts launched Need for Speed: No Limits for free on iOS and Android systems last September 2015. Game Publisher EA and affiliate studios Ghost Games decided to move into the console version: Playstation 4 and Xbox One. It will be the 21st installment and 2nd for the next-generation platforms.
Unfortunately, PC version of Need for Speed will not be available until 2016, WCCF Tech reports. This decision was announced by Ghost Games and posted on the site. Ghost Games explained that the game developer needs essential more time to increase visuals. Aside from that, they want to include content updates similar to that of PS4 and XBox One so that PC players will enjoy what PS4 and Xbox One players enjoyed.
Before the release of console versions, several gaming sites wrote its Close Beta Preview.
One site Trusted Reviews fearlessly give details of what they think about the game. The page cited the Pros and Cons of Need for Speed: No Limits. According to them, the game's size and scope is admirable (it's 19GB), smart graphics and easy controls. While its downsides are challenges are not really challenging and "whole chunks of play fly by without impact."
Trusted Review wrote its verdict for the Close Beta:
"A consummate arcade racer in terms of the sheer number of modes and options on offer, Need for Speed: No Limits is let down by a lack of challenge that makes entire chapters of play complete non-events, with EA simply underestimating the skill of even the greenest of players to a degree that undermines the game as a whole."
Need for Speed: No Limits will be racing to the PS4 and Xbox One on November 3. PC version will be offered next year.
