Amy Schumer recently took to the stage of 'Saturday Night Live' to debut her hosting skills for the very first time on national TV. Starting off her monologue, the blonde comedian didn't waste any time getting her thoughts across to the audience, which included bashing the Kardashian family. Throughout her speech, Amy continued to give reasons why the Kardashians are bad role models, focusing on their fondness for plastic surgery.
According to a report from US Magazine, last Saturday October 10, Amy Schumer hosted 'Saturday Night Live.' The 34-year-old comedian didn't hold back from the minute she took to the stage, firing constant attacks on the Kardashian family, proving she isn't a fan of the recent dubbed 'America's First Family.'
As soon as the blonde comedian started her monologue, she straight away slammed the Kardashian clan for being bad role models. She stated how the younger generation of girls need positive role models whom they can look up to. Amy said, "We have to be a good role model for these little girls because who do they have? All they have, literally, is the Kardashians." She then continued with, "She doesn't have a Malala poster in her room - trust me. Is that a great message for little girls? A whole family of women that take the faces they were born with as a light suggestion? Is that great? No."
In another report from Hollywood Life, the actress and writer went on bashing Khloe Kardashian who has recently been making headlines with the huge amount of weight she has lost. "And like, we used to have Khloe," Amy continued. "Khloe was ours, right? Whenever there's a group of women, you identify with one of them...but then Khloe, she lost half her body weight. She lost a Kendall! We have nothing. I want good role models."
If the Kardashian bashing wasn't enough, the co-writer and star of 'Inside Amy Schumer' then moved on to mocking the gun laws in America, as reported by Entertainment Tonight. Apparently the 34-year-old celebrity even made a short skit on the subject which included mockingly glorifying guns and the laws that are known for being too lenient.
After her first ever hosting of the popular 'Saturday Night Live', Amy Schumer received a lot of positive feedback from her monologue in which she bashed the Kardashian family. Being known as one who isn't afraid of holding back her thoughts and opinion, the comedian became a big hit with her audience and the viewers who loved the sarcastic humour which still pointed out some very true and interesting points.
