Final Fantasy VII Remake New Remix Announced; Release Date for Title Still Unknown

Final Fantasy VII's remake has peaked itself for being one of the most anticipated role-playing games of the generation. For more than a decade, the original version of the title that was once recognized as perhaps the best in the series, has received great feedback from the fans, and have expressed great tribute from them as well. In 2015, history has repeated itself in another innovative way.

According to Yibada, the Final Fantasy VII remake's fan base has kept their stance strong for the many years after the launch of the original Final Fantasy VII title back in 1997. Big appreciation has been shown to the musical score composed by Nobuo Uematsu that inspired the crowds of fans later on. Nearly 2 decades after, fans are at it again, making another musical rendition, paying respect to the original and welcoming the upcoming remake.

Delivered by Games MXDWN, as there have been remixes released in the past for other games and titles, the Final Fantasy VII remake remix is comprised of great names in the industry who have worked on other projects of the same caliber. OverClocked ReMix and Zelda Re-orchestrated are only some of the notable names done for a community project, and now, the bar has gone higher for the artists to make a memorable one for the fans.

As recently noted by Crunchy Roll, the Final Fantasy VII remake's remix is comprised of five discs in total with their own distinction of genres. The presence of renowned musicians such as pianist Kyle Landry, acapella artist Smooth McGroove and composer Dale North of Dragon Fantasy Book II just makes the mix a lot more interesting for the avid collectors of the saga.

The Materia: Final Fantasy VII Remixed is one masterpiece that fans have presumably prayed for. Sebastian Wolff. The Album Producer and Materia Collective Founder explained further and was quoted, "MATERIA: Final Fantasy VII Remixed is the album we have always wanted to exist," "It is more than a cover album; it is a collection of individual musical tributes from nearly 200 artists, collaborating to create a massive five-disc tribute to one of the most beloved games and soundtracks of all time."

Though the soundtrack is as close at hand as it can get, the Final Fantasy VII remake's release date is yet to be confirmed. As of the moment, the game is scheduled to be released within 2017 at the earliest.
