By

Former 'Transformers' star Shia LaBeouf was arrested in Sixth Street, a famous entertainment district in downtown Austin in Texas for public intoxication. The incident happened on Friday night, October 9, 2015.

CNN reported that the Austin Police Department will not release further details about the said case at this time due to pending adjudication. During the time of the arrest, he was apparently seen "acting blitzed and out of control outside of a local bar," as shared by TMZ. Shia LaBeouf has recently been involved in various issues such as alcohol abuse - which he agreed to get treatment as part of a settlement last year. Moreover, the actor was arrested by the New York Police June of last year because of obscene language, among many others in relation to alcohol abuse.

The former 'Transformers' star spent the Friday night in the Travis County Jail but was then released, BBC News featured. But despite all of these, the actor is a talented one and he used to write screenplays and have found his fame at age 14 and later on got involved with three 'Transformers' movie installments.

In lieu with the said arrest, Shia LaBeouf made everyone wonder about what had happened to him. The actor posted a cryptic tweet on his official Twitter account two days after his arrest and expressed that he will talk but not to a certain person - which he left unknown, Daily Mail UK cited. A witness had claimed that Shia LaBeouf could be extremely drunk or high on drugs.

Shia LaBeouf and his run-ins with the law enforcement definitely had some effect to his image and career, to an extent. The actor has spent some time in rehab for alcoholism - which he was arrested by the New York police prior. The actor and/or his representative have to express his side of the story just yet.
