As previously reported by VCPost, Microsoft Band 2 is less bulky, more refined, and has a curved display. It features UV monitoring, calorie and sleep tracking, more touch sensitivity, heart-rate monitor, gyroscope, and built-in GPS.

In addition, it includes notifications for calls, email updates, and texts as well as barometer tracks elevation. This newly added barometer sensor will be more appreciated by intense athletes, since it signifies how much oxygen your body can process per minute.

Microsoft Band 2's curved display makes it more comfortable and less awkward to wear. The band has now a softer material and full-color OLED display. Its cover is made of Gorilla Glass 3 for scratch resistance and enhanced touch response. Furthermore, it comes in small, medium, and large sizes to fit each user's wrist. The user can loosen or tighten the strap to adjust it.

The company also promises an enhanced Cortana integration in its Band 2 for Windows Phone users. Each user can speak into the Band microphone to reply to text messages, set alarms, ask Cortana queries, and create reminders or notes.

Overall, Microsoft Band 2 will absolutely be a hit in the market as it will be officially be available on the 30th of October. This innovative fitness wearable will most probably help people to enjoy working out and get fit.
