Although details about the upcoming Big Hero 6 sequel are scarce, new speculations suggest that it could eventually be tied to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. A new trailer mash up of Big Hero 6 and Avengers: Age of Ultron has also captured the interest of many online supporting the possible union of universes.

While the wait for new plot details for the sequel continues, rumors about Tadashi returning for the sequel have been making the rounds online. According to Movie News Guide, given that Tadashi's body was never recovered from the fire, many believe that he could still be alive and might return as 'Sunfire'.

In the Marvel comics, Sunfire is a Japanese mutant whose abilities include generating plasma. Furthermore, it is also heavily speculated that if Tadashi returns as Sunnfire, he might return to be the villain in the sequel which could mean that Hiro might have to fight against his brother.

Moreover, according to Latinos Post, a Big Hero 6 reference was also found by Reddit user Kalean during a scene in Avengers: Age of Ultron where Tony Stark was choosing a new A.I. for his armor, in the scene, 'Tadashi' was believed to be one of the options.

A new video was also released by Zenlike Productions in Youtube wherein the trailer for Big Hero 6 and Avengers: Age of Ultron were mashed-up making it new and darker. According to /Film, the audio for Avengers: Age of Ultron was used to fit with the footages of Big Hero 6. The trailer featured Big Hero 6 as the substitute for the Avengers and Baymax as substitute for Ultron.

Details about the upcoming Big Hero 6 sequel have not been announced yet, and speculations remain to be fan based and must be treated with a grain of salt until official details are released.
