Game publisher Bandai Namco and game developer Spike Chunsoft Co. are the two giants responsible for the invasion of anime game One Piece: Burning Blood to North America and Latin America in 2016 available for Playstation 4, Xbox One and Playstation Vita. Luffy and Awakened Doflamingo are among the playable characters where they engage in a highly advanced battle system.
One Piece, a new video game based on the widely popular manga and anime, is currently in development, Realty Today reported. The news was announced during Sony's press conference held at the recent Tokyo Game Show in September this year.
Written and illustrated by Eiichiro Oda, One Piece is a manga series that begins with the capital punishment of the King of the Pirates, Gol D. Roger. Roger exposes that his legendary treasure One Piece will belong to whoever finds it. Luffy who wants to become a pirate king tries to find the treasure in the Grand Line.
According to the page, "One Piece: Burning Blood," is a fighting game different from "One Piece: Pirate Warriors" and other games in the franchise. The game highlighting the fast-paced fights and battles. The game also introduce the advanced battle system.
Design & Trend described the battle system as very advanced regardless of the fact that it is initially utilize in One Piece game. Devil fruit and Haki will affect the battles itself. The players will have to maneuver resourceful techniques to overthrow different Devil Fruits users.
The page added that the character roster is enormous considering the timeline of the story. The confirmed playable characters include Luffy, Law, Bartolomeo, Awakened Doflamingo and Crocodile. The story begins when Luffy recruited Zoro, to fight against the Doflamingo Pirates.
TV Newsroom agreed that One Piece: Burning Blood gameplay is somewhat similar to the Naruto series. The unique abilities of the characters increase the attack power, reverse incoming attacks while players can operate when and how to use exceptional abilities.
Although not yet confirmed, Burning Blood marks the coming out of the One Piece cinematic franchise on the Xbox One console, added TVNewsroom.
