Rumor has it that two more Android 5.1 Lollipop powered by Gionee devices are spotted at TENAA. These handsets are the GN5001 and GN9010. The Chinese mobile phone manufacturer is most likely to launch these devices before this year ends.
According to Times News, the GN5001 and GN9010 devices have been certified by TENAA with diverse specifications. The Gionee GN9010 is said to include more powerful specifications than the GN5001. Both will run on Android 5.1 Lollipop operation system pre-installed.
The Gionee GN5001 weighs 188.5g and has dimensions of 143 by 69.9 by 8.6mm. It sports a 5-inch screen with 1280 by 720 pixels resolution display. This innovative smartphone is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core processor with 1GB of RAM as well as 16GB built-in storage expandable up to 128GB. Additionally, it boasts an 8-megapixel rear camera with CMOS sensor that can record 720p videos and a 5-megapixel front shooter. Connectivity and networking options include Bluetooth, WiFi, TD-LTE, GPS, and FDD-LTE.
On the other hand, Gionee GN9010 comes with 5.5-inch AMOLED display with the same pixel resolution as the GN5001. It features 1.3GHz octa-core processor like the GN5001, but with 2GB of RAM. Camerawise, it sports a 5-megapixel front snapper and a 13-megapixel primary shooter with 4 times optical zoom, CMOS sensor and 1080p video recording. Moreover, it weights 145.2g and its dimensions are 151.9 by 74.6 by 6.9mm. It has the same connectivity options like that of the GN5001 as well.
The release dates of the abovementioned Gionee devices are not yet officially announced. However, there are some speculations that this year won't end without having any of these being launched in the market.
On the whole, Gionee is already gearing up to unveil its latest handsets. Both the GN5001 and GN9010 devices are expected to hit the market before everyone even knows it. Thus, all Gionee and Android speculators must watch out for these devices soon.
