HP (Hewlett-Packard), a name synonymous with desktop PCs and laser printers, will unveil on the 18thof October 2015 its new netbook, HP Envy 13, aimed at people who demand mobility, portability, and dependability in a small but handsome chassis. Boasting of a 13.3-inch high definition screen with large capacity hard drive and gracious amount of RAM, the Ultrabook from HP also delivers 10-hour long battery life for uninterrupted netbook computing. It is even hinted that HP Envy 13 might trump Apple MacBook 12.

According to Robert C. Weich III of Latin Post, the new HP Envy 13 will also sport Intel's Core i3, i5, or i7 processor making this netbook, by far, the most powerful Ultrabook from HP to date. In addition to this, Weich III likewise indicated that the chassis of the HP Envy 13 is much thinner than that of Apple New MacBook 12.

User experience is also expected to be put to the test in this case due to HP Envy 13 challenging Apple MacBook 12 for overall Ultrabook performance. Another thing to consider, too, is HP Envy 13 will have a price tag of $849.00 which is $450.00 cheaper than that of the Apple MacBook 12 at $,1299.00, Weich III further commented.

Still on the HP Envy 13, the under 13-millimeter-thin netbook weighing in at 2.8 pounds, is a very serious looker. Mobile Tech Review Senior Editor Tong Zhang describes the new HP Ultrabook as one dressed in metal chassis with an elevated lift hinge for more comfortable typing and viewing experience. It also comes with dual speakers and audio courtesy of Bang & Olufsen. The HP Envy 13.3-inch viewing panel, Zhang added, offers unprecedented full HD or even Quad HD+ resolution for clarity and vividness.

The HP Envy 13 also boasts of three USB 3.0 ports plus one HDMI full port and an SD card reader for the ultimate HP Ultrabook experience making this one an excellent buy, Zhang further stated.

And lastly for the upcoming HP Envy 13, MacBook 12 might be facing its biggest challenge yet as HP Envy 13 is aiming to outshine the former in Ultrabook features and specs. In a comment by Henry T. Casey of Laptop Mag, the overall feel of the new HP Envy 13 is really noteworthy and the promise it brings to Ultrabook users is extremely high. Casey also added that HP Envy will run using Intel's 6th generation core processor making this Ultrabook a very powerful unit to boot.

The unveiling of HP Envy 13 this coming 18th October, 2015 poses a strong challenge to Ultrabook makers most especially Apple and to their MacBook 12. Expectations are soaring and speculations are aplenty whether or not HP Envy 13 will topple MacBook 12 in overall netbook performance. If HP Envy 13 reigns over MacBook 12, then HP will have added another milestone to their famous brand.
