Enough of image teasers of 'Far Cry Primal' because Ubisoft has officially revealed the release date of their next major entry in the popular Far Cry series. Players need to set aside the modern era and be ready to be taken back to the Stone age in a new gameplay in 'Far Cry Primal.'
In this new entry adventure game by Ubisoft, gamers will explore the Stone Age in its vast glory, said Design & Trend. Walking with the primitive boots of Takkar, an established hunter, players will hunt beasts along the way such us sabretooth tigers and wooly mammoths. With all the bones and skins he gathered from hunting, Takkar will be able to forge new weapons and other equipment.
"Primal" will also feature an interesting story in the campaign which starts when Takkar and his hunting group where attacked and he ends up being a sole survivor. With the struggle to survive against in a place where dangerous beasts, hostile tribes, and other elements are roaming, Takkar need to set out and find a way to create allies in his mission to build his group again,
Latino Post reported that the players in 'Far Cry Primal' will be using crude tools like spears and arrows to fight against dangerous animals instead of modern devices in survival. They also need to work well with tribe members to enhance their chance in taking down prehistoric beasts in the game.
Jean-Christophe Guyot, Creative Director of Ubisoft, knew that the switch from a common modern setting into a time when people we're not the ones on top of the food chain may seem odd at first. However, he believes that this setting makes sense considering the locales of previous Far Cry games.
"The Stone Age is the perfect setting for a Far Cry game. Far Cry usually puts you at the edge of the known world, in a beautiful, lawless and savage frontier" said Guyot.
"Far Cry Primal" is officially set to be released for Xbox One and PS4 on February 23, 2016 . A PC version will be made available for releasing on March, 2016.
Stone age setting may seem to be too common for some, but others see this as an opportunity for a new gameplay. The announcement of the release date marks the start of the prehistoric journey of Far Cry fans in this 'Far Cry Primal' game by Ubisoft.
