Chris Brown Dedicates New Song ‘Sorry’ to Whom?

By

After Chris Brown released collaborative track with Rick Ross, the singer's new single 'Sorry' was immediately scrutinized. Is the "Loyal" singer singing 'Sorry' for recent ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran or contorversial ex-lover Rihanna?

Many believed that this song is dedicated for Tran after the two split up when news broke that Brown had fathered a child with another woman with Tran completely unaware.

According to Latin Post, Brown tried to make things work between them but the model has embraced her freedom from the singer and is currently focusing in her career.

While most of speculations are aimed at Tran being the subject of the remorseful song of the singer, sources say that there are lyrics that can link back to his past girlfriend Rihanna.

Brown got all the hate he deserved from Rihanna's fans when the two broke up after he got physical with the 'Diamonds' singer at a pre-Grammy event in Los Angeles. According to CBS News, Brown was convicted of assault and was slated to five-years of probation and perform six months of community labor after he pleaded guilty for his abuse to the singer.

Some of the lyrics can really be meant for Rihanna as other reports suggested. But according to Urban Islandz, the song was ultimately confirmed to be for Karrueche Tran.

"Nobody never really hear Chris Brown on a joint like this. It was definitely written for Karrueche and am sure she listens to it. They don't talk right now but you would have to be a person with no heart not to be moved by a heartfelt joint like this," the singer's rep said.

On the track 'Sorry' Chris Brown sings about his regret for breaking the girl's heart as he soulfully hums his remorse after being abandoned.

Realizing his own errors and being 'Sorry' in this song, fans could only hope for Brown to make things better in his next relationship.
