Nintendo NX Reportedly Console-Mobile Hybrid will be Available in 2016

By

A lot of speculations about the Nintendo NX have surfaced online for the past few months. There are new rumors circulating around the Internet these days, which claim that the Nintendo NX is going to be a console-mobile hybrid, providing the users separate console and mobile units to use at home and on the road.

The Nintendo NX is alleged to include same or even better features than that of the PlayStation 4 or Xbox One, as previously reported by VCPost. It is also expected to sport an AMD mobile GPU and CPU with an 8GB of RAM chipset.

However, new rumors about the upcoming console have sparked just recently. It is most likely to include a portable device and will be released sometime next year. The console will probably consist of a mobile unit which can either be used in conjunction with the NX or separately. Furthermore, it might exclude an optical drive and offer the option to sync with other portable devices.

As per Wall Street Journal's Takashi Mochizuki, NX will be powered by "industry-leading chips." Allegedly, developers have already been provided development kits for the Nintendo NX.

The iconic video game giant has not given any more details and information regarding the form and design of its forthcoming console. But Nintendo promised to share more about the NX next year. Hence, this is also might be the year when everyone can get a hold of the device.

Nonetheless, Nintendo NX needs to stand out from the rest of its competitors, if the games giant wants to grow its market share. Since its Wii U has not been a big sales success, everybody is hoping that NX will make up for it in 2016. Thus, all Nintendo spectators can no longer wait for the arrival of this promising game console soon.
