Square Enix and Spike Chunsoft have confirmed that they are working on the Nintendo NX. Nintendo hasn't officially unveiled the NX yet, but video game developers are starting to confirm their titles for the new gaming platform.

The latest patent appears as if Nintendo's next console could feature the ability to sync up with a handheld device. The Nintendo NX is meant as it can be used in both portrait and landscape modes. AMD shows the new design that the company is working on for the next generation gaming console which is scheduled to be available in 2016.

Earlier this year, Nintendo has applied for a patent for a technology that takes out the disc drive for a console gaming unit. The patent is believed to be for the promised Nintendo NX which they projected at a conference to be a game changer and innovative in the industry.

With Nintendo NX's announce, it is expected for the game console diehards to bring back the old glory of the company. Although, up to this point, the Nintendo NX has yet to take form, the announcement just confirmed the company's commitment for itsr loyal fans.
