North American commercial printer Quad/Graphics continues expansion with UniGraphic acquisition

Sussex, Wisconsin-based commercial printing firm Quad/Graphics Inc bought Boston-based family-owned printing business UniGraphic Inc for an undisclosed amount as part of its expansion strategy via acquisitions.


Babcock International Group adds Oman-based training institute

London, UK-based engineering and support services firm Babcock International Group added Oman-based oil and gas training organization National Training Institute (NTI) for an undisclosed sum to extend the latter's training services to the UK.

Japan-based Sumitomo Corp agreed to acquire Australia-based Emerald Agribusiness Group Pty. The purchase allowed the Japanese trading firm to control the storage facilities and export terminal of Emerald, Bloomberg reported.

Canada's Novra Technologies Inc to purchase two US-based radio and digital signage solutions providers

Novra Technologies Inc said it has inked term sheets to purchase Wegener Corporation and Westport Research Associates. Terms of the deals were not disclosed in the statement about the acquisition.
