As Samsung Electronics has released the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ and Galaxy Note 5 last August, and the South Korean tech giant is now opt to release another one on February next year. This handset which is predicted to be the Samsung Galaxy S7 is rumored to be armored with amazing features and specs.
According to Christian Today, Samsung Electronics will be unveiling two new variants of its next-generation Samsung Galaxy S7 flagship in January 2016. This handset is reported to be shipped out to retail stores beginning in February. One of the forthcoming devices will come with a flat display, while the other will have a dual-edge curved touchscreen display.
Tech Radar stated on its report that the Samsung Galaxy S7 might feature a 5.7-inch display with 1440 x 2560 QHD one though rather than 4K. This handset may arrive with a curved screen protected by Samsung's much owned Turtle Glass. As for its camera, Galaxy S7 is expected to sport a 16-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing snapper.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 is speculated to come out of the box running on latest version of Android, the 6.0 Marshmallow. This device will reportedly be engineered with Qualcomm's upcoming chipset, Snapdragon 820 that will work hand-in-hand with 4 GB of RAM. It will also support a USB Type C, which will allow this gadget to charge faster and enable its cable to be plugged either way round.
Galaxy S7 is also said to have a fingerprint scanner just like its predecessor, Galaxy S6. As for its internal storage, it will be packed with 32 GB and 64 GB variety that can be further expanded through microSD.
Furthermore, BGR reported that the Samsung Galaxy S7 would mimic one of the unique features of iPhone 6s. Samsung is said to be forming a partnership with Synaptics for ClearForce technology which is similar to Apple's 3D Touch screen feature. In fact, it has patents of it, describing pressure-sensitive displays.
These are merely speculations though. However, if believed, Samsung Galaxy S7 might give a strong game to its rivals in the high-end smartphone arena. Until Samsung Electronics gives the official word itself, potential customers will have to rely on these predicted features.
