There are a lot of speculations that the Samsung Electronics will unveil another flagship smartphone on January 2016, which is predicted to be the Samsung Galaxy S7. This rumored handset will reportedly feature a magnesium alloy build, a first for the Korean tech giant.

Latinos Post said on its article that the Samsung Galaxy S7 may arrive in two variants, one is the "premium" and the other is "sub-premium." The two different variants of the Galaxy S7 are believed to be different under the chassis. The "premium" Galaxy S7 might sport a "Samsung-made SoC" while the "sub-premium" model might feature a chipset that is from a third party such as Qualcomm or MediaTek.Moreover, it was speculated that the presence of a new ePoP chip in the Galaxy S7 will make the performance of the device more efficient just like what the chip has done for the predecessors, Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge.

Furthermore, NDTV Gadgets reported that aside from the magnesium alloy build, Samsung Galaxy S7 might also feature a pressure sensitive touch display technology. This mechanism is similar to Apple's 3D Touch feature. The patent that was revealed by Korean Intellectual Property Office shows how the handset would throw different software results based on how hard the user presses the display. The said patent surfaced when Samsung is said to use Synaptics' ClearForce pressure-sensitive touch solution for its next Galaxy smartphones, most specifically, the upcoming Galaxy S7.

International Business Times further added that the Samsung Galaxy S7 might sport a dual camera set-up. Samsung has showed a new 20-megapixel sensor, and is now believed to feature this brilliant sensor in the next Galaxy device. The 20-megapixel sensor which measures 1/2.6" comes packed with 1.0 micron-sized pixels. This seems to be capable of utilizing less power due to its optimized 28 nm process.

With the magnesium alloy build to be installed to the Samsung Galaxy S7, it seems that the South Korean tech giant is indeed bringing its flagship phone to whole new level. This will be the first time that the company will use this material to its smartphones and hopefully the customers will appreciate Samsung's great leap.
