Android 6.0 Marshmallow is set to roll out on HTC One Desire 826 smartphones as declared in a list of HTC's official upgrade plans. The largest Android update in history is now in development stage for Desire 826, only two notches father from the official over-the-air release.
HTC One Desire 826 is confirmed to receive the Android 6.0 Marshmallow software upgrade in the first quarter of 2016. According to the list, this device will begin to receive the upgrade by January next year.
The same list has underscored that the Taiwanese mobile manufacturer will skipping Android Lollipop's first maintenance release. Although it was not utterly stated, the device is also expected to jump over the final Lollipop software version and head straight to Marshmallow.
HTC Desire 826 runs on a preinstalled Android 5.0.1 Lollipop and is a popular device because of its powerful camera. With Marshmallow, it will come with better camera properties and other software improvements.
Android 6.0 Marshmallow will feature an a battery-saving app called Doze, a more intuitive Google Now, supports for Android Pay and fingerprint scanner, more convenient Apps Permissions, easier volume controls, direct share, more mobile payment methods like Visa, Master Card, Discovery and Google Pay, and many other notable features.
HTC One Desire 826 is being lauded for its minimalist physical design. Its panels are made of sturdy plastic materials finished with glossy appearance.
It rocks a Mediatek MT6752 with an octa-core 1.7 GHz Cortex-A53 processor and Mali-T760MP2 graphics or widely known as Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chip. Although it has an average quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A53 processor and Adreno 306 graphics, Desire 826 is dubbed better than any other mid-range phones in the stiff mobile tech competition.
Desire 826 also has variants of 1 GB and 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB expandable to 32 GB of internal storage, 13 MP main camera with dual LD flash and auto-HDR, 5 MP front shooter, 2,000 mAh battery capacity for superfast charging experience.
