HTC One M7 Dual SIM will no longer receive the official Android 6.0 Marshmallow update. A list of HTC's official list of phones for Android updates revealed that the Marshmallow software has unfortunately been cancelled.
Android 6.0 Marshmallow update has officially been declared cancelled for HTC One M7 Dual SIM devices. Although it was not stated in the list, previous reports have already stated that the device cannot pass the specs qualifications for Marshmallow.
One M7 DS is currently running on and continuously rolling out with Android 5.0.1 Lollipop software version that brings with it Sense 6.0 UI. Meanwhile, a custom ROM based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow software might be released in the future, but one cannot expect impressive upgrade that the official version can bring.
Other devices confirmed for HTC include One M9+, One M9, One M8, One E9+, One M9, One E9, One M8, One M8s, One M8 EYE, One E8, Desire 826, Desire 820, Desire 816, and Desire 816G.
