Apple Reportedly Welcomes Intel Skylake Technology to its 2015 MacBook Pro

By

Apple is expected to get a Skylake technology upgrade to its 2015 MacBook Pro laptops. Rumor has it that the Apple MacBook Pro will most probably be the first device to run Intel's latest Skylake technology.

According to Intel, the production of the Skylake 14nm nanochips has started. If the timing is right, then the Cupertino-based tech giant will have an ample time to incorporate the smaller nanochips with the MacBook Pro.

Generally, Apple is one of the first companies to shift to Intel processors inside its laptops. Thus, once the Apple laptop receives the Skylake technology, the device then will include additional features, such as faster processing speed. And if this actually happens, there is no doubt that the MacBook Pro is going to be a very powerful device.

Furthermore, the new Intel Skylake processor provides improved performance to the device than any other processors out there. Since the MacBook Pro is not just an entry-level laptop, it should include a high-performance processor.

Intel's high-end Skylake processors are said to be available in strong volumes next year. Hence, Apple might refresh its MacBook lineup to bolster the devices' hardware specifications. It is also worth noting that Apple's competitors are now transitioning their products to Intel's newest Skylake processors. Therefore, the tech giant must also respond immediately so as not to get left behind.

Meanwhile, the forthcoming MacBook Pro is alleged to sport a 15-inch Retina display, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950 graphics card out of the box, as well as a newer chassis. Its price is expected to be around $1500.

On the whole, Apple and Intel still need to confirm about this speculation. Nonetheless, if the MacBook Pro comes with an upgraded Intel Skylake processor, then it will absolutely become a great one. All Apple users and speculators cannot wait for the official announcement of the company about the matter in the coming days.
