Five Nights At Freddy’s 4 Halloween Update Confirmed to Add Creepy Plush Toy; Scott Cawthon Announces 2 New Patches Coming

By

The Nightmare Puppet in the Five Nights at Freddy's 4 has been confirmed as creator Scott Cawthon has released the Nightmare Puppet teaser. The teaser features an innocent-looking plush toy which gives gamers a creep when applied with some editing. The game's update shall be released on October 31 for PC and mobile.

Scott Games' Nightmare Puppet released its teaser with an image of a plush toy. It shows a Freddy plushie, which appeared to be innocent at first. However, after some editing, a sinister looking enemy will be found hidden in the shadows.

Design & Trend reports that Scott games intentionally obstructed the view of the image to entail excitement to fans. In addition, those who purchased the Halloween content of Five Nights at Freddy's 4 shall receive an additional mode and a mini game.

The creator added that the teaser conveys more of a message rather than a mere image; as the toy appears to be floating in absolute darkness, appearing completely innocent. However, Realty Today explains that there is something more with the image. One player must go to Scott Games' official website, right click on the image, then choose "Save As". The image will be saved as "dontwakethebaby.jpg." After this, one may open it with any picture editing software and brighten the picture up as it reveals the sinister looking creature with a slender body and long arms.

According to the game developer, the game shall feature two releases at the end of the month. Ecumenical News reports that Cawthon has updated fans of the two upcoming patches for IP which includes a canon and a non- canon update. The first patch is still related to the game's lore as it would feature the additional contents mentioned last August. The non-canon patch, on the other hand, is somehow not related with the story. It is just said to bring the spirit of Halloween through the addition of a few details such as a few character changes and cosmetic changes.

With the teaser presenting an innocent image having a creepy feature, it is truly a Halloween edition for Five Nights at Freddy's 4 then. The automatic update shall be released on October 31 and fans can also look out for the new patch releases coming shortly for the horror adventure game.
