Halo 5: Guardians has officially launched on Xbox One and 343 Industries had been generous for showing off its multiplayer mode. A bunch of reviews have surfaced online commenting on its game features and plot. Furthermore, the developers once and for all, clarified the demand for the game's release for Windows 10.
While there are games nowadays which provide lesser contents, the Halos series proved otherwise by providing players with lots of stuff to keep them busy. Tech Times reports that with the release of Halo 5: Guardians, the game had enough content to keep the gamers busy for a while. Its campaign having 15 levels in total, there may be an estimated 8 hours of completion time.
It also features 18 Day One multiplayer maps and 15 free DLC multiplayer maps. In the game, four players can take the story-based campaign which may pave way for a split-screen mode. Each level is also designed to be some of the best in the series where there are multiple paths to be explored and collectibles to find.
The main campaign focuses on two protagonists, the Master Chief, leading his Blue Team, and Spartan Agent Jameson Locke, leading the Fireteam Osiris. The game's story switch perspectives between the two teams as they progress and advance through the group's narratives. According to Latinos Post, the game is set shortly after Halo 4 wherein Guardians, a mysterious force, pose a threat to the galaxy. Master Chief is missing in the beginning of the game with his loyalty doubted as Agent Locke leads a special unit to locate him. Two new mission structures are also to be expected as gamers are exposed to wide open areas and battlefields with more enemies.
Halo 5: Guardians is released exclusively for Xbox One but fans especially PC gamers are hopeful for its possible Windows 10 release. In response, the developers clarified that there still has no plans for such, according to Frank O'Connor of 343 Industries.
However, International Business Times accounts that what O'Connor meant was that they may not have plans for PC at the moment but has also not dismissed such possibility. In the meantime, 343 Industries had teased the 6-hour broadcast leading to the midnight launch of Halo 5: Live at Xbox Wire.
As the game is being released today, gamers can finally try out the anticipated Halo 5: Guardians, along with its 15 campaign levels, and try it in a 4-player story-based campaign. PC gamers have yet to wait for a confirmation on its release for Windows 10, but as of the moment, the developers had clarified that the game is exclusive for Xbox One.
