It is also said that most retailers will not offer the Apple TV 4 as of the moment. However, a retailer called MacMall is reportedly taking orders for the Apple TV 4. It does not offer discounts and said that shipments might not come until four days after pre-order.
The Apple TV 4 will come bundled with an AppleCare Protection Plan for $30. The two-year warranty provides direct Apple repair service and technical support for the Apple TV 4, Siri remote control, and AirPort.
CNET reported that the new Apple TV will have a starting price of $149 for the 32 GB variant and $199 for the 64 GB version. The report stated that Apple positioned the Apple TV 4 and the new tvOS as the "future of television."
As of today, Apple has not yet offered any discounts or deals for the Apple TV 4. Many expect that the company will soon give out discounts after the new Apple TV launches. The new Apple TV faces competition from Google, Amazon, and Roku's set-top boxes in the smart TV market .
