Microsoft Surface Pro 4: Specs, Reviews And Price; One Of The Best Tablet Display

The Microsoft Corporation recently held an event unveiling its newest operating system Windows 10. During the occasion the company also released its newest member of Surface Pro family, the Surface Pro 4. This device was said to have a great display making it one of the best tablet ever.

According to Gizmodo, the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 receives a major upgrade and improvement to the already excellent display that the Surface Pro 3 have. Surface Pro 4 has higher screen resolution of 2,736 x 1,824 and a 24 percent higher pixels-per-inch of 267 and 60 percent more total pixels of 5.0 million. Furthermore, every aspect of display performance has improved, this includes the display's maximum brightness, contrast ratio, absolute color accuracy, viewing angle performance, and with lower screen reflectance, resulting in much better performance in ambient light.

In addition, Engadget stated on its review the pros and cons of the Surface Pro 4. The positive side of the device includes, the device works well as both a tablet and a laptop, a New Type Cover and Surface Pen are massive improvements, and still pretty thin and light for the equivalent of an ultraportable. Meanwhile, the negative sides were mediocre battery life as it offers only 9 hours of usage and Type Cover is an additional $130.

Tech Radar added that the Surface Pro 4 arrived in two variants, depending on the levels of power the user is looking for. There were five of the six configurations on offer which comes with Intel's Core i5 or Core i7 processor and can be configured with a lower or higher amount of storage and RAM. Microsoft Corporation also offers a Surface Pro 4 with 1TB of SSD storage in addition to the configurations.

As for the Surface Pro 4 Price, the 128 GB 6th Generation Intel® CoreTM M3 with 4 GB of RAM costs $899 ERP. The 128 GB 6th Generation Intel® CoreTM i5 with 4 GB of RAM is tagged at $999 ERP. The 256 GB 6th Generation Intel® CoreTM i5 with 8 GB of RAM is priced at $1,299 ERP. The 256 GB 6th Generation Intel® CoreTM i7 with 8 GB of RAM is rated $1,599 ERP. The 256 GB 6th Generation Intel® CoreTM i7 with 16 GB of RAM costs $1,799 ERP and the 512 GB 6th Generation Intel® CoreTM i7 with 16 GB of RAM is sold $2,199 ERP.

With the improved and enhanced display of the Surface Pro 4 it only justifies that the Microsoft has made a great leap with the Surface Pro 3's screen resolution. This device that is dubbed to be one of the best tablets with great display will surely create a competition to its rivals in the tablet arena.
