The cast of Orphan Black Season 4 temporarily took the time off from shooting to talk to fans at the Paleyfest in New York a few weeks ago. Graeme Mason, also the executive producer of the show, together with actors Tatiana Maslany, Jordan Gavaris, Kristian Bruun and Maria Doyle Kennedy answered various questions about the show.
Many viewers have wondered about the fate of Delphine, played by Evelyne Brochu, who got shot at the final episode on the show's third season. According to International Business Times, Manson confirmed nor denied Delphin's true fate.
"It's great that people are that invested," Manson said. "That's the main thing. Evelyne is another one of our buds, so you know. Where did she get hit? In the liver? I don't think that's necessarily fatal." Fans will have to wait on whether or not Delphine appears on the next season.
The storyline of Orphan Black Season 4 will give more attention to history. According to Entertainment Weekly, the show will be diving into stories that tie "back to the beginning" of the entire series. It will feature Sarah Manning jumping back a few weeks before Kira. Ari Millen will return as a male clone, while Kevin Hanchard continues big in the series as Detective Bell. Also in this season, Felix will truly know how it feels to be the "odd man out" since he does not have the biological blood type of Sarah or Mrs. S.
Manson revealed that the storyline, with all its unexpected twists and turns, solely depends on the show's writers. In a post from Indiewire, actor Kristian Bruun, who plays Donnie in the series, added that "it's a real writer's show" and that the changes in the development of the story is what makes it exciting.
Orphan Black is a sci-fi series about Sarah Manning who witnessed a suicide of a woman who turned out to be her clone. Season 4 of the series will air in Spring 2016 on BBC America.
