In the upcoming episode of "The Affair", IB Times mentions that Alison Lockhart (Ruth Wilson) will find out that his fiance, Noah Solloway's (Dominic West) new book entitled "Descent" was about their affair. Noah's book alledgedly contains graphic descriptions of his sexual experiences with Alison. It was reported that the said book was one of the best works of Noah.
Meanwhile, the previous episode as recapped by The Wall Street Journal showed Noah and Helen (Maura Tierney) continued with their divorce process. They are also arguing about the sole custody of their three children. In addition to that, Noah is also trying his best to get Helen's money. Moreover, the judge gave a court order that Alison cannot go near Noah's children. Noah and Alison can't also live together until the custody battle and the divorce proceedings are done.
As per the official synopsis of episode 5, TV Guide notes, "Alison is thrown away by an unpleasant shift in behaviour from her Hudson Valley hosts, Yvonne (Joanna Gleason) and Robert (Peter Friedman). She's also furious with Noah after discovering that his new book was about their love affair. Meanwhile, Cole Lockhart (Joshua Jackson) disproves Scotty Lockhart's (Colin Donnell) plan."
