ZTE Axon, Axon Pro Specs, Price: New mid-range handsets boast a gigantic 64GB storage option at $450

ZTE has promoted its two new handsets, called as the mid-range Axon the Axon Pro that packs a gigantic 64GB storage option. Now, the Axon Pro is officially available in the United States.

According to Digital trends, the ZTE Axon is being powered by a 2.0GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chip with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. On the other hand, the Axon Pro sports the newer octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810, clocked at the same 2.0 GHz. It comes packed with 64GB storage and monstrous 4GB of RAM.

A 5.5-inch display is featured for both the Axon and the Pro. However, the Axon sports a TFT LCD display having a resolution of 1080p (1,920 x 1,080 pixels) while the Axon Pro has upgraded to a CGS (Continuous Grain Silicon) TFT LCD display with a Quad HD resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels.

While the Axon Pro models are already pretty competitively priced, ZTE is also introducing an even cheaper handset, the Axon. Though this handset has downgraded specs, it still sports the sleek aluminum appearance of the Axon Pro range, Tech radar wrote.

Other information from Digital Trends states that all of the Axon phone varieties have similar metal casing and glass front panel. A user will also notice its quite speaker grills along with a cool form of triangles. It is said that the design continues on the rear of the device close the camera lens.

As for more of the specifications for both the Axon and Axon Pro, devices look virtually identical and sport Gorilla Glass 3, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac 2.4 GHz/ 5 GHz, LTE Cat 4 (Axon) or LTE Cat 6 (Axon Pro), 3,000mAh battery with Quick Charge 2.0, as well as Android 5.1.1.

ZDnet says that if the buying price is too high for a one-time payment, it is said that a customer could take advantage of ZTE's new lease-to-own program in which a customer can pay an Axon device in six to 24 months.

For pricing concern, the Axon model can be purchased at a price that starts at $330. On the other hand, the Axon Pro bears a price tag of $400 for the 32GB version while its new 64GB model is available at $450.
