The guessing game on who will be the next guest playable characters for Mortal Kombat X Kombat Pack 2 continues as new set of potential fighters have emerged online just recently, most of which are courtesy of NetherRealm co-creator Ed Boon.

Via Twitter, Boon has relentlessly teased fans several new fierce brawlers that will be featured in the next DLC pack. Boon's tweet revealed that the two characters will be part of Mortal Kombat X comic book series which will be launched soon.

As reported by PlayStation Universe, a number of new guest characters will be playable where the list includes characters such as Noob Saibot, Cyrax, Baraka, Smoke, The Joker, Sektor, Elvira, Rorschach, Ash William, Indiana Jones, Marcus Fenix, Neo, Alien, and Spawn.

There are silhouettes released dropping hints to players as to who will be the 4 upcoming characters, interestingly enough, one mystery image appears to resemble Marvel's Wolverine that simply means the popular mutant in X-Men franchise could make it to the game via DLC.

Several other characters who are likely to join the Mortal Kombat X character roster are Smoke and Baraka, the two classic fighters in the game series who possess unique set of skills and special abilities. Alien, on the other hand, is a xenomorph from the popular movie franchise while Bo Rai Cho, Fujin and Sindel are also speculated to make an appearance in Mortal Kombat X soon. Fans can recall that Bo Rai Cho is a drunken martial arts expert who was first introducted in Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance.

Also, Game Spot cited that the rumored two of the four characters in Kombat Pack 2 are Drahim and Havik. This speculation made the rounds online when Boon posted photos of Drahim and Havik who were both featured in Mortal Kombat: Armageddon released in 2006.

Neither Warner Bros. Entertainment nor NetherRealm Studios has made an official announcement on who will be the four guest characters in Kombat Pack 2 for Mortal Kombat X. In addition to the new kombatants, the next DLC will also bring in new skins and environments.

The Mortal Kombat X Kombat Pack 2 release window is set in the first half of 2016. As for the price, it is not revealed just yet, although, players had to shell out a total of $30 for Kombat Pack 1 which contains all four fighters such as Predator, Tremor, Jason Voorhess, and Tanya.
