Destiny acclaimed developer Bungie has confirmed a new item coming to the game that will help fans get through more difficult missions. It also gave fans a warning on how The Taken King loot drop could have an impact on their future hauls. Meanwhile, the game's fans can enjoy 'Festival of the Lost' Halloween-themed event launched in celebration of the occasion until November 9.
Express.Co.UK reports that Bungie game designers Ryan Paradis and Jacob Benton talked about how their team had been observing ways that gamers use to collect some information and what their plans are to act on it.
"We've seen a lot of talk on the internet recently about fans thinking that they have found a lot of the quest lines and a lot of the weapons, Benton stated. "This time we have gone to some special lengths to hide things from the databases that people usually look at and so there are things that people don't know about. Even people who think they've seen every quest line, we've taken things out."
Meanwhile, creative director Luke Smith also confirmed that a new item will be out for Destiny fans that could help out to tackle the game's more difficult missions. "There was another item that reset your Nightfall cooldown so you could run another one," Smith revealed. "We're going to experiment with them in the future."
In more news, Bungie has its exciting way to celebrate Halloween with a horror-inspired 'Festival of the Lost' which will culminate on Nov. 9. IB Times Australia noted that some of the new features addd in the event are new emotes and items available for purchase. Gamers can grab Boo, Monster Dance, and Zombie Dance for the emotes.
However, gamers who are playing "Destiny: The Taken King" on Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 should know that the "Zombie Dance" emote is not compatible with the said consoles. Game Informer added that all these emotes can cost around $20 or equivalent to a total of 1,500 Silver.
Via the FAQ page for the event, however, Bungie has confirmed that Zombie Dance emote won't be available for Xbox 360 and PS3 due to incompability with the said feature.
On top of the above features, new mystery bags known as 'Treasures of the Lost' can also be purchased at 200, 500, and 900 Silver. The gamers who buy these might get a Paper Glue, Jackolyte, Flight of Shadows, Skull Mask, Random Festival Candy, or Paper Scraps.
In addition, the event also adds a special quest named 'Sweet Memories' from Eva Levante which will enable the gamers to gather candies from one store to another. After which, players can ask Eva for 'Treasures of the Lost' mystery bag and for more quests.
