A love story set in the outer space is what the forthcoming Passengers film is working on to bring into the silver screen as production is currently under way. Chris Pratt recently posted a new photo from the set while fans have voiced out their uncertainties for the flick.
Two of Hollywood's hottest stars, Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt are currently filming in Atlanta, and as reported by Bustle, Pratt has recently liven up the anticipation for the project by posting a photo on his Instagram account of his and Lawrence's chairs on set.
"On set of #Passengers directed by the great @mortentyldum starring #jenniferlawrence and me. I'm telling you right now. I don't believe in jinxes. And not to brag or whatever. But....This movie is going to be FREAKING AWESOME. Ho. Ly. Shee. At. More to come!" wrote on his caption.
Late last month, E Online reported the first look of Pratt and Lawrence on the set of Passengers where Pratt was seen sporting a beard while Lawrence was spotted having beach blond hair which she fixed into a low bun.
Moreover, as reported by Fashion N Style, fans have also expressed their concerns about the film through its IMDb Message Board. The fans are worried as to how the book will be translated into the big screen.
Some of the fans' messages pointed particularly on the third character who was woken up along with Pratt's Jim and Lawrence's Aurora only to die soon after while some also mentioned their concerns on the casting. One fan with the username Quetee 2 also mentioned their hopes for a great chemistry between the two leads, "I hope they have a lot of chemistry or else this movie doesn't work. I read the script and even though I like the idea, I didn't believe the characters were in love", the message stated.
Passengers will center on a space craft carrying thousands of people as it travels to a distant colony. However, a malfunction ensues in one of the sleeping chambers and a single passenger, Jim, is awakened with 60 years more of his time. With the prospects of getting old, and dying alone, he later wakes up another passenger. The sci-fi adventure film is directed by Morten Tyldum and it is currently slated to hit theaters in December 21, 2016.
