The source code of Android Marshmallow OS is confirmed to release Android 6.0 Marshmallow via CM13 or an AOSP ROM for OnePlus One devices. The confirmation was made by the custom ROM community CyanogenMod earlier this month.

Tutorial: Step-by-step installation procedure of CyanogenMod [Unofficial] CM13 v6.0 Marshmallow custom ROM on OnePlus One (aka Bacon) model via TWRP recovery method.
Step 1: Download CyanogenMod CM13 Android v6.0 Marshmallow custom ROM (HERE) in to your PC.

Step 2: Connect OnePlus One to the computer.
[Note: Before plugging the phone to the computer, be sure that you have installed USB driver software, if not, click HEREto download the firmware].
Step 3: Place the AOSP 6.0 Marshmallow custom ROM into the phone's storage memory.
[Note: Users are advised to paste the .zip file in the storage root folder, not in any other folder.].
Step 4: Turn off device and disconnect it from PC.

Step 9: Flashing of the custom ROM begins and after few minutes, a message 'Successful' appears on the screen, thus completing installation.
Step 10: If faced with boot loop problem, navigate back to TWRP settings, and select 'Wipe cache/dalvik'. This procedure will help resolve any issue with regard to custom ROM installation.
This new custom ROM has to be installed exclusively on OnePlus One aka Bacon models only. If tried on other device, it might get bricked. Moreover, uers should be reminded that the site is not liable to any damages that will occur while processing the installation, so make sure to practice caution of flashing the Custom ROM.
