The Sony is set to launch the "Sony's Concept for Android: Marshmallow Edition" before October ends. Additionally, it is only limited to 10,000 users of Xperia Z3 and Z3 Compact to try the Marshmallow edition in the specified markets. Rumors have also surfaced about its flash stock availability.
Based on the official blog of Sony Mobile, the "Sony's Concept for Android: Marshmallow Edition" will start rolling out over the next couple of weeks. Unfortunately, just like the Sony's Concept for Android app on Google play, it will only be available to selected variants. The program is only open to Sony Xperia Z3 (D6603) and Xperia Z3 Compact (D5803) users in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Iceland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, United Kingdom, Ireland and Germany.
Furthermore, the Sony Mobile explained that the software is built on some of the key feedbacks from its first "Concept for Android". As noted, the users helped them create an experience built on the fundamentals of prolonged battery life, smooth and fast performance, sleek user interface, timely updates, and best Sony app experiences.
On the other hand, as reported by PhoneArena, Sony said that it will announce any new features as they will be added to the beta build. The company mentions that the concept Marshmallow Android build will roll out gradually. Additionally, as the name suggests, Sony's Concept for Android is a beta program that the company uses to showcase a new, more stock-like Android UI as well as test drive new features.
Elsewhere, there are rumors surfaced on the web that suggests a downloadable flash stock for "Sony's Concept for Android: Marshmallow Edition". The main purpose of it is to share the Marshmallow build to other Z3 and Z3 compact users that are not in the specified countries. However, there are no concrete details nor download links about the flash stock of the latest build for Xperia Z3 and Z3 compact.
Nevertheless, if the user of Xperia Z3 or Xperia Z3 Compact in the specified countries wants to avail for the Marshmallow edition build, users can check out the sign-up app to register.
