Apple Inc. is bound to release another MacBook Air that is expected to be unveiled before 2015 ends or early 2016. As the launch of this device is forthcoming, predicted features, specs and price are arising all over the wire.
According to an article made by Christian Post, the new-gen MacBook Air will be hitting the market together with the iPad Air 3 just in time for Christmas. But there are talks that the above mentioned device will most likely to arrive in the first quarter of 2016.
The same report also stated that it's only Apple Inc. who solely knows when will the company release the MacBook Pro 2016 and this information is just a piece of hint. Furthermore, the decision to forgo a year-ender release could be the company's move to cut down costs. Withholding the new MacBooks and the iPad could be a plan of the company to avoid sales clash with their recently released tech products.
Moreover, Christian Today cited some of the possible specs that the MacBook Air 2016 might sport. This device is believed to arrive in two variants: one with 13-inch and the other with 15-inch Retina screen display that give off richer and more vibrant images.
The most exciting part about the device's feature is its Force Touch technology. MacBook Air 2016 is also expected to carry a Skylake-U processor that could take its performance up to a whole next level. It is expected to have a more powerful battery and will have a Type-C USB connector. Lastly, the upcoming member of MacBook Air family is expected to carry an OS X.
As for the MacBook Air 2016 price, Gospel Herald stated that it is possible that the 13-inch version of the MacBook Air could be about $1500 and the MacBook Pro 15.4 inch model at $1699.
With the predicted specs and features of MacBook Air, it seems that the American tech giant has moved this device to a whole new level. Meanwhile, avid fans of the MacBook Air family still have to wait for official announcements from Apple Inc.
