'Rick and Morty' Season 3 Premiere in March 2017? Alex Hirsch Teases "Gravity Falls" Crossover Might be Happening

"Gravity Falls" creator Alex Hirsch hints a possibility of a "Rick and Morty" crossover this season 3. Screenwriter Dan Harmon even revealed some spoilers about the show. However, the premiere date has not yet been officially announced.

"Gravity Falls" creator Alex Hirsch told Entertainment Weekly about the possibility of a crossover. Hirsch himself has voiced a character in "Rick and Morty". He also added that there was a time where he and "Rick and Morty" creator Justin Roiland were both working in the same office for Disney Channel.

Speaking of "Rick and Morty" Season 3 spoilers, screenwriter Dan Harmon teased the fans when he told The Hollywood Reporter , "I'm excited about revisiting stuff in season 3 because I was so phobic about revisiting stuff in season 2. Now, we can fade in on Blips and Chitz because we've already proven that the show isn't going to start eating itself, and that will feel even more limitless if we go back to a couple things that we really enjoyed doing.

However, the premiere date of "Rick and Morty" Season 3 has not been officially announced yet according to IB Times. The post-credits of the previous season hinted that the show will progress to a new season. One scene even featured a pizza delivery boy asking Mr. Poopy Butthole about the season 2 finale and its cliffhangers. Mr. Poopy Butthole stated that the upcoming season will air after a year and a half or so.

There will be a possible crossover of "Rick and Morty" and "Gravity Falls". Aside from that, the screenwriter hints some spoilers about the 3rd season of the show. Unfortunately, no official premiere date has been released yet.

As of now, the premiere date of "Rick and Morty" Season 3 has not been released, however, the show is predicted to make its return on the small screen around March 2017. "Rick and Morty" is an American adult animated TV series.
