The upcoming iPad Air 3 is being claimed to be the Apple's most powerful tablet as well as the iPad Pro 2016. The iPad Air that was postponed to release this year could finally be released during the first quarter of 2016.

According to IT Pro, the upcoming iPad Air 3 will keep the 9.7in display size but it will have a bump in resolution up to 2334 x 3112 pixels at around 401ppi. The battery size may also drop in line with the new iPhones, too. This might be down to the amplified resolution, a thinner frame or possibly even an IPX7 waterproofing certificate.

iPad Air 3 update has indicated that this rumored new tablet will sport an A9X chipset and a 2K resolution together with 3D display. The iPad Air 3 will be more lightweight than the iPad Pro 2016 as the name proposes. This device will also arrive thinner and lighter compared to the iPad Air 2, Latinos Post wrote.

Christian Post noted that the iPad Air 3 will have a 401 ppi which can also be found in the iPhone 6s Plus. An A9 or A9X chipset will most possibly provide power to this new tablet, and could be backed up by a 2 GB or 4 GB RAM.

When it comes to the photography department, the iPad Air 3 is speculated to sport an 8-megapixel camera in the rear, and a 2.1 megapixels on the front. This device is also supposed to arrive in only 5 millimeters thin, and will be dust and waterproof. Same as with the other Apple devices, the iPad Air 3 will be available in different versions; it will have 16GB, 32GB, 64 GB, and 128 GB storage options.

The upcoming iPad Air 3 which is claimed to be the most Apple's power tablet by far is predicted to be released in March 2016. It is also rumored to bear a price tag that will start at £399 but can be varied depending on the customer's preferred storage amount.
