T-Mobile's Samsung Galaxy S6 units are headed to the testing stage of Android 6.0 Marshmallow software, only a single step away from the official release. According to an official list of Samsung Galaxy's Marshmallow upgrades, the American mobile carrier will be doing lab testing for the upgrade around in November to evaluate its performance.
Samsung Galaxy S6 on T-Mobile is currently in manufacturer development stage wherein the telecom company has come to terms with the South Korean giant to back the biggest upgrade in Android history. According to the roadmap plans of T-Mobile, Galaxy S6 will proceed to the testing stage wherein the mobile carrier will incorporate its own software update with Google's new build.
Android 6.0 Marshmallow software's development phase is expected to finish off in November and will proceed directly to testing. Here, the supersized smartphone will undergo a certification process from T-Mobile to guarantee Marshmallow's finest software experience. This is expected to be finished in two weeks.
The official release will come if the performance evaluation of the new build is conducted successful. However, the release date will only begin per carrier's discretion and the device's location.
Android 6.0 Marshmallow upgrade will be rolling out to Samsung Galaxy S6 smartphones under T-Mobile with model number SM-G920T. The devices are completely upgraded with the final Lollipop update.
The Marshmallow software brings a bunch of new features and enhancements in apps, battery, security, and so many more. One of its most notable improvements is the "app backup and restore."
This feature offers ease and convenience to users who would want to switch to new Android phone because transferring and/or restoring the setting can done with Marshmallow. On top of it, the device will automatically back up data even when the phone is idle or not connected to a Wi-Fi network.
