Tekken 7 has been made available to the arcade since earlier this year-some countries being within the Asian territories and others in the Western regions. With such a great title anticipated by countless fans of the franchise, the arcade release may no longer suffice, even with the unending hype surrounding the current title.

As recently reported by PC Advisor, Tekken 7 has somewhat forced fans to wait for the latest expansion in the series, since Tekken Tag Tournament 2 came out four years ago. Now that the latest installment has arrived the notable play spots of their corresponding territories, fans are eager to know just when the console version of the title will be up and running, ready to roll.

Delivered by Ecumenical News, though no date has been disclosed for the upcoming Tekken 7 console version as of the moment, it was announced during Paris Games Week that the PlayStation 4 version of Tekken 7 will be compatible with the VR headset along with Gran Turismo Sport.Oddly enough, fans find the idea of a fighting game such as Tekken 7 being in a VR environment quite peculiar, since the game series never had a different perspective or angle.

Given that the Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Unlimited Console version was noted to have done a wonderful job of making the best experience possible, fans are waiting for the endless tendencies that the upcoming expansion can offer.

In definition, Tekken 7 revolves around the possible conclusion of the Mishima bloodline which has been one of the main focuses of the franchise since the early going, according to Forbes. The conventional Mishima characters, Heihachi, Kazuya and the rebel son Jin Kazama are still noted of being in the series, as well as some new characters whose back stories are yet to be disclosed. Such characters include Shaheen, Claudio, Lucky Chloe, Gigas and the alleged wife of Heihachi, Kazumi Mishima.

The back stories of the characters are presumably one reason as to why the fans would want to get their hands on the console version, others would simply want to enjoy the title at the comforts of their own home. As of the moment, Tekken 7's console version is estimated to release within 2016. Stay tuned for more updates on Bandai Namco's worldwide phenomenon under the Tekken franchise.
