Since his divorce from wife of four years, Blake Shelton has been pretty open and honest about the divorce and how he's been doing. Just recently, the country singer yet again opened up on his situation now he and Miranda Lambert are divorced, and specifically stated how awkward it's going to be attending the CMAs. This is in line with the current romance rumors surrounding him and Gwen Stefani after constantly portraying flirtatious acts.
According to a report from E! Online, Blake Shelton recently opened up on 'Late Night With Seth Meyers' last Tuesday, where he talked about the awkwardness expected during the CMAs. After attending the said event with ex-wife Miranda Lambert by his side for the past eight years, Blake admitted that's it's going to be something different walking the red carpet alone. The former married couple have been seen yearly together at the CMAs since 2007 and have even accepted awards onstage together.
Latin Post reported how the country singer stated, "This year's 'gonna be awkward at the CMAs," seeing that he just recently divorced from his wife and fellow country singer. He then went on to explain, "Because we are...it's such a family. Everybody there is friends. There's gotta be one (joke) about me and Miranda. Host Brad Paisley is not doing his job if he doesn't look down there and go 'Ha ha!' You have to address the elephant in the room."
However, despite not looking forward to the awkwardness, US Magazine reported that the 39-year-old singer has already heated up romance rumors with co-judge on 'The Voice,' Gwen Stefani. The two judges of the hit show are continuously seen portraying flirtatious acts with one another. Although an insider claims that the duo are not dating, it was also revealed by another source that what is seen on 'The Voice' is not scripted, and 'they're the real thing.'
Despite the various dating rumors circulating around Blake Shelton and recently single Gwen Stefani, neither of the two have confirmed nor denied the real deal on their close 'friendship.' With the CMAs fast approaching, Blake may find his predictions coming true as he's set to face the red carpet alone.
