The No Man's Sky release date is no longer a secret to fans who have been keeping an eye on this elusive detail for the past months. Sony finally announced that the open universe survival adventure title will be out in June next year at Paris Games Week. Also, brand new trailer of indie video game has also been showcased at the prestigious event which starred Rutger Hauer narrating.

During Sony's press con last week, Hello Games founder Sean Murray confirmed that No Man's Sky will officially hit shelves June 2016 which put off the undying rumors of a stelath release happening late last month.

In comparison to the game's previously shown sneak peek demos, the new trailer indicated emphasis on combat and whole urgency which makes it more clear now to gamers that it appears similar to space exploration. The new demo started with a narration from a character who is assumed as a traveller in space. The following scenes unveiled the open ended galaxies, the strange looking inhabitants from unknown planets, Inverse noted.

Moreover, it is now revealed that the indie game will include several battles to be fought as what's shown in the video where some space shuttles making an attacking at what looks like a mother ship. It is also expected to feature first-person combat in the planet's surface based on the teaser. [Watch Video]

Christian Post opined that maybe one of the main objectives of players is to discover as many planets and have them named for themselves, except when another player captures the planets or creatures.

Via the PlayStation Blog, Murray added to discuss about how he and his team have been hard at work to put their vision into reality. He stated, "This is a game that means everything to our team. I have wanted to play something like No Man's Sky since I was a kid, and many of you have told me you feel the same. For all of us, we get one shot to make this game and we can't mess it up. Our small team knows the world is watching, we've come from the bottom and we don't take it lightly."

Murray has also released an interview with Euro Gamer to talk about the hype surrounding the upcoming No Man's Sky release. "We're just trying to represent it, we think that is exciting, the game is exciting. Hype, for me, is that other thing, which is like an unattainable level of excitement. An excitement that will ultimately end in hurt," he said.

"In terms of showing [No Man's Sky], initially we want to show how different it is from other games, but now we need to help ground people so they understand what kind of game it is."

No Man's Sky is confirmed to officially release as a PS4 timed-exclusive title and will also hit PC in June 2016. Keep tuning in for more news and updates.
