After the record-breaking release of iPhone 6s and 6s Plus, a lot of speculations are claiming that the American tech giant will soon release its upcoming iPhone 7. The specs and features of the upcoming device are expected to outdo its predecessor, iPhone 6s.
According to The Week, the iPhone 7 might ditch the physical home button to make room for a completely edge-to-edge display. This means that the upcoming smartphone will have no wasted space on its front face. It is also believed that the upcoming iPhone 7 will arrive completely waterproof and have a wireless charging technology.
Furthermore, Android Origin added that Apple might possibly incorporate a removable battery, but based on the series of iPhone, this most likely won't happen to iPhone 7.
Apple may even do something about MicroSD slot as its rival smartphone manufacturers mostly incorporate one on its handsets. It would be quite attractive to see a MicroSD memory card slot for iPhone 7 and it would basically attract thousands of users. But again, this is highly unlikely as the American tech giant hasn't been practicing these sorts of things for ages.
Apple could also use some more RAM since their latest operating systems seem to use more and more. But then this is actually where iOS takes advantage against Android which basically uses a lot RAM of.
International Business Times stated on its article that iPhone 7 might be between 6.0 and 6.5 mm thick making it as thin as the iPod touch and iPad Air 2. It was also reported that the iPhone 7 will be engineered by A10 chip processor and this device might house a camera with six-element lenses. This handset might also feature sapphire screen and complete metal body.
To initially compare whether the iPhone 7 would possibly be better than its predecessor here are some of the features that iPhone 6s carries. It sports a 4.7-inch LED-backlit IPS screen with Retina HD and 1334 x750 pixels (326ppi pixel density). Under its chassis, this device is engineered with A9 chip and it runs on the latest iOS 9 but can be upgraded to iOS 9.0.2. If the speculations about iPhone 7 are proven to be true, it seems that the upcoming flagship smartphone of Apple could potentially top the sales of its predecessor. But since none of these specifications were confirmed by the American tech giant yet, iPhone fans still have to wait until the company gives every detail about the next iPhone.
