It's Tony Stark versus Steve Rogers in Captain America: Civil War and a new promo art has made rounds online suggesting more sophisticated suits for both heroes. New plot rumors also suggest that the film would include deception in the Avengers and link to other MCU films.
A new promo art has surfaced featuring the first look at Captain America and Iron Man. As reported by Comic Book, the photo features Captain America's scale armor which was popular in the character's comics version, and Iron Man's Bleeding Edge Armor.
The Avengers will be divided as some will be pro and anti registration which will be lead by Iron Man and Captain America respectively. According to Screen Rant, The Winter Soldier, Hawkeye, Falcon, Agent 13, Ant-Man, and Scarlet Witch will side with Captain America, while War Machine, Black Widow, Spider-Man, Black Panther, and Vision will choose to go with Iron Man.
Initially, this set up will suggest that Iron Man could get the upper hand in the fight, however, plot rumors suggest that Black Widow is merely working undercover for Steve Rogers, while Black Panther and Spider-Man might really be anti-registration.
Moreover. it is also heavily speculated that Vision might leave the planet after Captain America: Civil War. According to Movie News Guide while the cause of his departure remains unclear, it would open to several possibilities for the character to appear in several other films in the MCU.
After he leaves earth, plot theories suggest that he might appear in Thor: Ragnarok since Thor previously had a vision about the Mind Gem which is in Vision's head. Aside from that, he could also serve as MCU's Adam Warlock and appear in Guardians of the Galaxy 2 which would be the actualization of director James Gunn's hint about an Avenger meeting the Guardians.
Captain America: Civil War will pick up after the events of Avengers 2 where an incident involving the superhero team will lead to a fight between two of the team's notable members. The film is set to be directed by Joe and Anthony Russo. It is currently slated to hit theaters on May 06, 2016.
