‘Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft’ Best ‘TGT’ Decks Revealed and Reviewed

By

Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft by Blizzard Entertainment have gathered popularity from iOS, Android and PC gamers around the globe to convene in a free-to-play card game. And this popularity have allowed Blizzard to launch frequent contents for the game, including its second expansion, The Grand Tournament.

The Grand Tournament Deck, tagged as TGT Deck, is the game's expansion which injects additional 132 new cards to the game which may be bought in packages or were created through crystal powder. Such crystal powder, on the other hand, are gained by destroying other cards. Such addition of cards marks a drastic change while its impact pushes the players to be more creative in a game where balance is essential.

The expansion basically introduced two new game mechanics: Inspire and Joust. Inspire is activated when a player uses his Hero Powers, effecting some minions. Joust, on the other hand, creates a duel of minions in the deck of each player. The player who has the minion of higher value is rewarded. In a game of various possibilities, it is almost impossible to predict a new impact with 132 new cards. However, some best Hearthstone players have created some great decks which are described in detail in Game Reactor's site. These decks are the following: Druid, Hunter, Mage, Paladin, Priest, Rogue, Shaman, Warlock, and Warrior.

In addition, Red Bull commented that a game of nine different classes with 700 unique cards offers endless possibilities. However, there will always be certain decks which would appear to be most strongly. The site have identified these ten most frustrating decks which shall be featured in the upcoming BlizzCon this November. These decks include: Face Hunter, Control Warrior, Control Priest, Zoolock, Mech Mage, Secret Mage, Healing Paladin, Combo Druid, Freeze Mage, and Oil Rogue.

On the other hand, The Daily Dot has commented that The Grand Tournament Deck has just given two new dominant decks, namely: Dragon Priest and Secret Paladin. The site has also identified the only cards which are getting consistent play in the top-tier dacks. These cards are enumerated as: Living Roots, Darnassus Aspirant, Competitive Spirit, Mysterious Challenger, Justicar Trueheart, Murloc Knight, Bear Trap, Ram Wrangler, Gromok The Impaler, Holy Champion, Wyrmrest Agent, Twilight Guardian, and Chillmaw, numbering to 13 out of 130 cards. According to the site, it means that only 10% of the content introduced in TGT is being played at high level.

Stay tuned for more updates and tactics regarding Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft on BlizzCom this coming November.
