Fans expressed disappointments following the announcements made by Atlus over the once again delayed in the supposedly scheduled release of Persona 5 this year. To compensate the inconvenience of the postponement, game developers talked about gameplay while apologizing and explaining the cause of delay.

Persona 5 game director Katsura Hashino conveyed regrets over the pushing back of the game's release date, wrote Christian Today. It was during the Tokyo's Game Show that the statement was made. Apparently, Persona 5 was slated to be released in 2014 but was pushed back to late 2015 and now it is again scheduled to be out in 2016.

In an interview cited by Christian Today, Hashino gave the reasons for the delay and apologized to the waiting fans. He explained that they are tuning up the gameplay in a very refined style that would satisfy even the game developers, much more the fans.

To weigh down the bad news, Hashino offered details of the gameplay of Persona 5, reported Yibada. The latest installment of the franchise features Sneak, All-out-Attack, Cooperation and Steal Hearts. Aside from that, it also includes other game activities like going to school, riding trains, playing baseball and using phones.

The site also mentioned speculations about the separate in-game storyline for the main characters Ryuji Sakamoto and Ann Takamaki.

Despite the recent developments, supporters of Persona are still hopeful that the developers can deliver their promise of complete and impressive Persona 5, said Master Herald.

The site opined that with the various reports about the improved gameplay, Persona 5 will give players a better opportunity to walk around strategies that entail more skill. Further, the creators of the game like to impress the supporters by making the gameplay more accessible while deepening it at the same time, thus explains the delays.

Persona 5 by Atlus is scheduled for release in Japan and United States in 2016 for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.
