The movie director, Steven Spielberg, has recently hinted that "Indiana Jones 5" movie might still progress. Alongside his revelation, he wants the renowned titular actor Harrison Ford to work with him again.
During the British Academy Britannia Awards, Harrison Ford received a standing ovation. But, Deadline reported that the crowd really buzzed up when Steven Spielberg teased the "Indiana Jones 5" movie production. "I can't wait to work with you again on Indiana Jones 5. This is NO announcement, just my fervent hope," he said.
Aside from this, Spielberg also hopes that Ford would reprise another legendary role might as well in "Indiana Jones 5" movie. According to him, it's all up to Ford and they are still up to figuring things out. Metro noted the track record competition between Tom Hanks and Harrison Ford when it comes to working with Spielberg with a tied up record of four-four. However, Ford will advance with one if he takes Indy 5.
With the revelation being said, it was reported on Comic Book that the cast and crew behind the "Indiana Jones" movie franchise are confident that the sequel film will happen in the future. As of the moment, the details remain untouched. There is no script, scriptwriters or further details regarding the future project. However, Kathleen Kennedy, Spielberg, Ford and Frank Marshal are reportedly talking about it.
The original film has first released in 1981 with the title Raiders of the Lost Ark. It was then followed by the Indiana Jones and the Temple of the Doom in 1984, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade in 1989 and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull in 2008. The series was created by George Lucas under the direction of Steven Spielberg which stars Harrison Ford.
Although rumors say the film has obviously had a scant amount to no progress of with the film production, Spielberg's revelation sounded more like an announcement to most of the fans. "Indiana Jones 5" is rumored to be out on the fourth quarter of 2018.
