As the seventh installment movie of "Star Wars" nears its release, reports say that fans have voted for the film in a survey. "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" ranked as the top most wanted movies in the survey next to "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2".
With a total of 3,000 people, the consumer tracking company has revealed that "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" is one of the two highly anticipated upcoming movies for a fall release. Variety reported that the scale of zero to 1,000 company rates consumer engagement has recorded a 495 rating ranking third place for the "Star Wars" film.
According to the Piedmont, it is the third best record since the company began the surveys five years ago. The film also garnered the best score with 553 among the males and 383 with the females. Moreover, the people who were surveyed were selected from different places according to age, gender, ticket-buying behaviour and ethnicity.
In other news, the new character, John Boyega, has had undergone a tough audition process before he landed a role. Cinemablend indicated that the process he has been through was all worth it according to the young actor, John Boyega, especially after he first read his dialogues.
"When I read the script I cried, and I'm not really a big crier... I'm more like a frog-in-the- throat kind of guy, who'll try to hold it in and make sure I don't let it all out," he stated.
Star Wars has posted the Facebook 360 video creation of Lucasfilm which was exclusively for Facebook users. The video presents the perspective of Daisy Ridley's character while racing through the starship necropolis. However, sources say that the 360 video does not reveal further information on what will happen on the "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" film.
John Boyega, 23, will be seen as Finn in the movie. Although further details about his character was not revealed, Boyega said his character role is "dope" and "epic". The story of his character also mirrors Luke Skywalker's and Han Solo's stories. He also revealed that he was heavily trained in a treadmill in preparation of his role.
The official trailer of the "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" will be released before it hits the cinema on December 18. Audiences are excited to witness one of the most expected movies of the Star Wars series.
