Yu Televentures has teased the upcoming Yu Yutopia with a 32GB for its internal storage. Their newest Facebook posts takes a dig at Apple.
"$650 to buy a phone with 16Gb of internal storage? The only thing that has changed is Nothing. #ThinkDifferentApple #Yutopia," YU posted on their Facebook page.
Last week, YU took a swing at OnePlus saying that people should never settle for 1080p. Yu Yutopia could then feature a QHD display, according to International Business Times India.
Yu Yutopia Specs
The Yu Yutopia is rumored to sport a 5.2-inch QHD display based on their statements and earlier leaks. It could also be powered by the powerful Snapdragon 810 SoC from Qualcomm bundled with 4GB of RAM and a 1.5GHz octa-core processor, which puts it in the mid-high end spectrum of smartphones.
For the camera, the rear snapper could feature 21MP while the front is expected to have 8MP, according to BGR India. Out of the box, it is expected to run CyanogenMod12 OS which is based on the Android 5.1 Lollipop update. It would be nice if the phone ran the recently launched Android 6.0 Marshmallow version.
The Yu Yutopia is also expected to feature dual-SIM support and expandable storage via microSD card. It will be useful for the 4G LTE support of the phone. It still has Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.1 connectivity.
Import and export listings website Zauba showed the phone with the model number Yu5050, according to NDTV. In addition, the phone also scored 5622 for the multi-cire test and 1353 for the single-core test benchmark.
Yu Yutopia Release Date
There is no release date yet for the Yu Yutopia. Some say that it would be in time for the holiday season, just like the rumored OnePlus 3. However, the company has stayed quiet regarding its launch.
Fans will have to wait for further announcements regarding the Yu Yutopia on their Facebook page or website. With all the teasing, the phone may arrive sooner than expected.
