Rumors are rife online that From Software is currently developing an FS PS4 exclusive JRPG and that's none other than Bloodborne 2. Following a tremendous success of the first title and with a single DLC pack coming to the game titled, 'The Old Hunters', this new leak could possibly be closer to the truth.
This latest development on Bloodborne 2 being in the works is revealed by Design & Trend courtesy of a tipster named Verendus who posted on the NeoGAF forums and shared what the developer is cooking up inside its factory in the middle of a discussion regarding Sony's first-party titles.
The post reads, "next FS exclusive for PS4 [is] currently in development, is a Sony published first-party title, like 'Bloodborne,' and is a JRPG." It is noted that it is opposed to the previously released statement from Sony Worldwide's Shuhei Yoshida who said that there will be no such upcoming games in the horizon.
To date, Bloodborne has sold more than 2 million copies even as PS4 exclusive title which calls for a sequel to repeat the successful release of the game in the form of Bloodborne 2. As reported earlier, creator Hidetaka Miyazaki, in an interview with GameSpot said that he "wants to work on something new" that will carry Miyazaki signature. On the other side of the coin, From Software's plate is full and it could take a while for fans to get their hands on Bloodborne 2 or an entirely new franchise.
On November 24, the developer will be launching the much awaited Bloodborne: The Old Hunters expansion bringing more excitement to the game and create a whole new level of gaming experience for hardcore Bloodborne fans out there. Dark Souls 3, on the other hand, is set to hit North America in April 2016 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
