The silhouettes of the 4 upcoming brawlers prompted the players on who wil likely be added to the game via DLC. It is noted that one of the mystery images looked like Marvel's Wolverine. This could not be a remote possibility as the popular fierce mutant in X-Men franchise has been an all-time favorite for movie fans.
The release window for Kombat Pack 2 is confirmed to be around mid-2016 and predicted to fall in April 2015 in time for MKX 1st anniversary celebration.
In more news, Design & Trend reports that a YouTuber who named 'Dynasty' detailed the mods which are posted in a forum called Mortal Kombat Secrets. It is said that it's already been a long while since the files were created but its only just recently that they got a lot of public attention.
The Goro DLC character can be seen in his original Mortal Kombat costume back in 1992 sporting white shin guards, red ribbon, and yin yang design. On the other hand, Noob Saibot mod is a rework of Sub-Zero's Mortal Kombat X Blue Steel skin, altering the costume and turned it into a black shadow making it look like Noob Saibot.
The Kombatant was originally modeled after Sub-Zero when he was first introduced in Mortal Kombat II. Since the mods are just skins, they only add to the character's aesthetics and nothing else beyond that.
The klassic Goro skin created by OmegaMathauS can be downloaded via this link and Noob Saibot's skin created by UncleFestor can be downloaded via this link.
The users, however, are warned that these mods are downloaded and installed at their own risk since these mods are unofficial and did not come from the game developer. Gamers who want the new official DLC of Mortal Kombat X will have to wait until next year.
Mortal Kombat X is released by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment for PS4, Xbox One and PC. A mobile version of the game is also available both for IOS and android devices. .
